Towards the highest health level through close monitoring

Thrice a year a veterinarian comes in for monitoring.

Monitoring consists of a visit of the stables paying special attention to anomalies, a considered serological examination combined with nose swabs and faecal examinations.  With each visit we improve our bio safety measures.

On the basis of the monitoring and the lab results we discuss and evaluate the bio safety, the vaccination programme and possible changes of approach with all parties involved.

Screenings were executed in August 2009 and March 2010.

All animals are free of following diseases :
 

  • App/Actinobacillus Pleuropneumaonia
  • M. Hyo/Mycoplasma Hyopneumoniae
  • Brachispira Hyodysenteriae/
  • Scabies
  • Pasteurella Multocida toxine/Progressive atrophic rhinitis (PAR)/bull nose
  • Salmonella result

Circulation of the following diseases is not shown through ELISA, serological or bacterial examination:

  • PIA/Porcine Intestinal Adenomatosa 
  • HPS/Haemophilus Parasuis/Glässer 
  • PCV2/Porcine Circovirus Type 2
